Will It’s Okay to Not Be Okay Season 2 Release?

I have been watching plenty of Korean dramas over the last couple of years. Memories of the Alhambra, Crash Landing on You, It’s okay that’s not love and many more. But the one thing I noticed among most dramas is they don’t come with a second season.

Except for My first First Love and Kingdom. Maybe there are dramas with multiple seasons about which I have no clue about. Either way, when it comes to Rom-com dramas, the trend is to usually finish the story in one season.

But Memories of the Alhambra, largely remains unfinished. With so much story left. As someone who watched episode by episode, week after week, I wished the second season came out. Instead what we got was Crash Landing on You, an amazing drama with a splendid cast. Absolute gem if you ask me.

But, it finished in just one season. So, will there be a second season of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay?

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay Season 2 Release Date

Based on how the story is going as of writing this, a second season seems highly unlikely. If the drama has a cliffhanger ending, we will most likely get to see another season.

But there’s more to a drama getting a second season than that. The popularity of the drama, plot, among others. We have seen TV shows get a second season despite it getting over. In the case of Money Heist, but then again it’s an outlier. One among the thousands of shows that got renewed on Netflix.

All in all, let’s hope that we get more of It’s okay not to be okay. As the story is something I’ve been enjoying a lot.
