What is a Henna Tattoo?
Henna tattoo is a tattoo made from henna. The tattoo is made from henna powder mixed with water and tea. Once the paste is made, it is transferred onto a pipping bag and applied on the skin.
After applying henna, the hand is left to dry for few hours and then water is used to wash it off.
The tattoo is famous in Middle east and Asian countries during festivals and marriages. In India, henna tattoo is often referred as Mehndi. During marriages, the bride goes the process of putting henna all around her arms. This is a tradition in itself.
How is Henna Tattoo made?
Before a henna tattoo is made, an outline of the design is made on the hand. Once done, they trace it using the henna pipe which was made earlier.
