The official website for the UQ Holder! Magister Negi Magi! 2 anime adaptation began streaming a new promo. It previews the opening theme for the anime, which is being sung by seiyuu Yuka Takakura, Yuuki Hirose, Ai Kayano, Yui Ogura, Sayaka Harada, and Akari Kitou.
UQ Holder! Magister Negi Magi! 2 will air on October 2 and is set in the same universe as Ken Akamatsu’s Negima! Magister Negi Magi series. Set 70 years after Negima!, UQ Holder! centers on a boy named Touta who dreams of moving to the city. However, he is mortally wounded by a bounty hunter looking for Yukihime, who turns out to be the legendary vampire Evangeline. She turns Touta into a vampire to save his life and he joins her covenant of immortal beings known as UQ Holder.
UQ Holder! Magister Negi Magi! 2 is being directed by Youhei Suzuki (Sword Oratoria) and is being animated by J.C. Staff.
