Netflix has been adding new shows targeted specifically at teenagers for sometime. The society is the latest one. The series begins with a foreboding introduction, with all the adults and children missing from the town. There are only teenagers in the town right now. They party hard and enjoy life without rules. There’s no one to stop them from doing things which they always they wanted to.
But things start to change as there’s no one to take control. There is chaos everywhere. They start fighting amongst themselves, forming gangs and what not.
Netflix The Society Season 2 Release Date
The series has everything in it. Action, spice and drama.If you are looking for something to binge watch this Friday, then this is the way to go. And if you have already finished watching the show then you must be wondering about the second season.
Like most Netflix teen dramas, we fully expect the show to get another season. With that being said, as of writing this no announcement has been made on a second season of the society. So let’s hope that they announce another season, as the show is too good.
Netflix The Society Review
There aren’t many teenage series which debate the advantages of socialism vs capitalism or dictatorship vs democracy. The Society is a show about rising upto challenges, building a community from the ground up. The dynamics of power is constantly changing, it’s like the old days. There are no shortcuts, you are forced to face challenges head on or the alpha takes over. The show had everything I loved. Drama, fights and not to forget the unbelievable twits.
If you are looking for something to binge watch this weekend, then this show is the way to go. I highly recommend it. With that being said, Netflix has been rolling out some amazing shows this year, so it’s a fantastic time to be alive.
