Directed by one of Narcos’s director Josh Padilla, the series was inspired by a series of scandals involving the Brazilian government.
The series is akin to Wire, except for the fact that instead of drugs, The Mechanism revolves around the government.

The first season was a thriller. The focus was on Ibrahim and his systems. The second season is focused more on the government. The show captures your attention like none and is a must watch.
