One thing missing from the drama was something outside the story of Na-bi. For exmaple in Crash Landing on You, the concept of North Korea, their cultures, lives of their soldiers among other things were explored.

But here, nothing of such sort. Instead, the story revolved around butterflies. Using them as a metaphor to advance the core. Which was interesting in it’s own way.
