His father understood the whole situation, hence both of them started searching for Mikasa. Eren found Mikasa and two goons, he killed both of them and rescued Mikasa.
But alas, the third goon appeared and lifted eren by his collar and was about to kill him when eren uttered the following words-
and then Mikasa stabbed the goon and both of them survived.
