Is it normal to crush on anime characters?

Yes. It is normal. The challenge lies in the intensity. On a scale of ten, how obsessed are you with the character.

Is it a 10/10 or is it a 11/10? If the answer is one among the latter, then it definitely is a problem. If it’s around or below five, then it is understandable. We all fall in love with books, stories and characters. So, it’s absolutely normal to obsess over an anime character.

But, there are people who take it a bit far. For, instance recently gatebox released a virtual waifu. And a Japanese man, married the vocaloid. this is an extreme case. But, things like that do happen in Japan.
