Death Note has no bounds. Be it anime or movie. The series has managed to capture the imagination of otakus across the world alike. After finishing Death Note movies, I went through bit of a crisis. I was looking for similar movies. Hence decide to make this list. Hope you like these.
1. Gintama: The Final Chapter – Be Forever Yorozuya

Quick Pitch: During spring break, the usually anti-social Koyomi befriends honor-student Tsubasa due to her down-to-earth nature. Later that evening, Koyomi hears a cry for help and discovers the blonde vampire Kiss-shot lying in a pool of blood. After giving Kiss-shot some of his blood, Koyomi discovers that this one act of kindness leads to his despair.
3. The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

4. Steins;Gate: The Movie – Load Region of Déjà Vu

5. Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic

6. Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion

Quick Pitch: The third of the Madako Magica movie series. The first two movies are compilations of the TV series, and the third is an all-new story.
The young magical girls happily live their lives, but Homura feels that something is wrong. While her friends are oblivious to the truth, Homura knows that they are joined by someone who shouldn’t exist. But, is she willing to uncover the painful truth for the sake of love?
7. Girls und Panzer der Film

8. No Game No Life: Zero

9. K-On! The Movie

Quick Pitch: With graduation only a few weeks away, the founding members of the Light Music Club decide to take a final trip to London, England. The girls try to have fun together but a melancholic air surrounds them.
10. Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale
Genre: Action / Adventure / Science Fiction

Quick Pitch: The story is about a VRMMORPG called Ordinal Scale, which is played through a wearable device called Augma. Asuna and her friends invite Kirito to join them in the game but the friends quickly face new dangers that test their limits.
11. Love Live! The School Idol Movie
Genre: Music / Slice of Life

Quick Pitch: With graduation looming for the third-year members of µ’s, the girls decide to take a trip to New York City to spread the joy of school idols outside of Japan. Thanks to their popularity, the girls draw large crowds. This puts pressure on them to arrive at a decision: continue performing as idols or disband following Nico, Eli, and Nozomi’s graduation.
12. Trigun: Badlands Rumble
Genre: Action / Comedy / Science Fiction
Studio: Madhouse
Quick Pitch: 20 years after ruining a bank heist conducted by Gasback, Vash the Stampede heads to Macca City. Rumor says that a legendary thief is hiding out there, which brings an influx bounty hunters wanting to collect the 300 million bounty.
